Since 1978, Methodist Grammar School, Bodija has formed generations of young Nigerians in faith, scholarship and service — in the heart of Ibadan.
Our Story
Methodist Grammar School, Bodija, is a co-educational secondary school founded on the Methodist tradition of sound education, moral discipline and service to God and humanity. The school was established on the 22nd of September, 1978, under the motto Character and Knowledge.
Our pupils grow within a structured, caring environment that balances rigorous academics with sport, the arts, leadership and Christian values — preparing them for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, NECO, and a confident life beyond school.
From the junior school to the senior streams, every member of the community is known, challenged and encouraged to become the fullest version of themselves: disciplined in mind, generous in spirit, and grounded in faith.
